The Connecticut Home Company was born in 2015 when Daniel and Ivy Kramp were first introduced to Litchfield Country. Immediately they fell in love with the rolling countryside, collection of small towns and of course, the beautiful historic homes. Both Ivy and Daniel are residential real estate brokers in NYC where they have been serving clients for over 15 years. Being in the residential real estate space has given them access to some of the most incredible homes NYC has to offer as well as great exposure to the designs and finishes used by the top designers and developers in the city. This exposure to design and their love for homes and architecture has fueled their passion to restore homes in the countryside. Each home that they restore as a unique feel that is tailored to the individual space. Their approach lets the bones of the home direct the design. Chic country farmhouse? Midcentury Modern? Luxury Country Retreat? Modern City Living? The home decides their direction and from there, they lean into designing a home with high-quality fixtures and finishes, luxury upgrades, and personal touches creating an end result that is inviting, warm and in true keeping with the home's original aesthetic. 

They reside full time in Brooklyn Heights with their two kids, June and Henry and their rescue pup Rosie. Connecticut has their heart and is their family escape from city life. The great joy that a family retreat has brought their family is what drives them to create homes for others.
